Here’s a sneak peek at my first post over on Fabulous in the South…

“(Brianna) I want to welcome our Fabulous new featured blogger, Mackenzie Kimbro! I cannot wait for all of you to see what this talented young lady is all about. I was highly impressed and I know you will be too! I could brag on this chic and tell ya’ll how amazing she is, but I will just let ya’ll see for yourself! Take it away Mackenzie!!

Mackenzie: I am BEYOND excited to be working with The Bleacher Babe, Miss Brianna!

For my first post, we thought it would be a good idea to let you know a little bit about me…

First off, my name is Mackenzie Kimbro. I’m 20 years old and I’m the sixth generation in my family to live the cattle ranching dream (I am heavily involved in running my family’s ranching operation-consisting of 2 ranches- because it is only myself, my mom and my grandpa working them)!

We ranch in southeast Arizona, where summer is almost all year round but the landscape (views, diversity, wildlife, etc) really can’t be beat.

I am extremely passionate, and very ambitious, which has led me to be passionate about and involved in a LOT of different avenues!

Growing up in the working ranch cowboy lifestyle has instilled in me a fierce desire to do all things with courage, to ride for the brand, to cherish traditions while embracing progress, and to work your booty off for what you want.

I believe in being proud of what you’ve done and revisiting your past experiences as you go through life. I have a background in showing hogs and steers throughout 4-H and FFA, and was active in many extracurricular activities during high school, including managing the Varsity football, wrestling and baseball teams.

Fast forwarding a bit… In the last year I have started my own business, blog and website, mainly supported by sales of my recently released coffeetable cookbook “Roots Run Deep: Our Ranching Tradition.” I also love to make jewelry and am looking into starting some beaded and leather work.”

Be sure to head over to Fabulous in the South/The Bleacher Babe to read the rest of the blog, including my passions and some really great quotes! And please explore Bri’s blog, all about rodeo fashion and western lifestyle!

AND EVEN MORE EXCITING NEWS (you really don’t want to miss this)!!!

Brianna (aka The Bleacher Babe) is hosting a GIVEAWAY of a copy of my coffeetable cookbook, “Roots Run Deep: Our Ranching Tradition.” HOW FANTASTIC IS THAT?!

All you have to do is head over to Facebook or Instagram (or both 🙂 ), and give us some likes/follows! Then be sure to find the GIVEAWAY post and follow the directions (tag three friends in the comments and share the post for extra love) to enter!

That’s all for now, thanks for reading and we’ll talk to you soon folks!

Here’s to good rains, great friends, and healthy cattle,

(AND to fun new opportunities!),

~Kenzie
